HVAC Maintenance & Tune-Ups in Bakersfield, CA

Bakersfield summers are hard on air conditioners. A tune-up before the heat hits catches worn parts while they’re cheap to fix, and keeps the system running efficiently.

FAQ

Questions we get a lot

How often should I service my AC?

Once a year for cooling, ideally in spring before the heat. If you also heat with the system, a fall check is worth it too.

Do you offer maintenance agreements?

Yes, especially for businesses. Call us and we’ll set up a schedule that fits your equipment.

How often should I change my filter?

Check it monthly in summer. In Bakersfield’s dust, many homes need a new filter every one to two months.

How do I keep the AC bill down on PG&E time-of-use?

On PG&E’s E-TOU-C plan, peak pricing runs from 4 to 9 p.m. every day. Cool the house down before 4, then let the thermostat drift up a couple of degrees during peak. A clean filter and coil matter more here than most places, because the system runs so many hours.
