FAQ

Questions we get a lot

My heater went out at night. Can you come?

Call (661) 889-0990. We answer emergency calls after hours, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it can wait until morning.

Why does my furnace smell when I first turn it on?

A dusty smell for a few minutes after months off is normal. A smell that lingers, or any smell of gas, is not. If you smell gas, leave the house and call the gas company first.

Do you repair heat pumps?

Yes. Many Bakersfield homes heat with a heat pump, and we repair both the heating and cooling side.

Should I get my heater checked before winter?

It’s a good idea, especially if it hasn’t run since last year. A fall tune-up catches worn igniters and dirty burners before the first cold night.
